I think it was Becky (my ever-so-wonderful sister) who pointed out at some point in the past that update is a funny word because it seems as if one is perhaps going out with someone, I don't know, taller than them? Silly. And also relevant to my situation at this moment in time, as I am now dating someone taller than me. It's the first romantic-type-thing I've had that feels really right and, well, normal, or at least as normal as someone like me can get. It's awesome so far. And as much as I hate the fact that we only have a week together, it's nice not to have anything that it's distracting me from, other than utter boredom and spending time with other wonderful people. Gosh, life is good!
In other news, I'm feeling slightly less freaked out about India, now that I've been evaluated and visa-ed by the Indian embassy, been stuck with needles multiple times (ugh...), gotten Typhoid from Worth four separate times, and been instructed to bring a box of Cadbury Fruit and Nut Chocolates as a gift for my host in Kolkata. As long as the room comes through, it looks like it's all going to be okay...
